We have been producing this classic Rhône-style blend since 1992. Inspired by the food-friendly and exquisitely layered wines of the Southern Rhône Valley, the Z Cuvée exemplifies the delicate unity between the savory elegance and fruit-driven nature of these blends.On the nose, the 2017 Z Cuvée is deliciously fragrant, reminiscent of a fresh basket of Rainier cherries and balanced by a secondary layer of a well-weathered cedar cigar box. Upon first sip, the front palate is immediately refreshed and invigorated with dried goji berry flavors. As the acidity splays across the front of the tongue, it is curbed by the maturation of the rounded tannins. The finish is curtailed and taut, though appropriately adorned with enough juicy berry to beckon you back to the glass.
