The Chapel G block was planted in 2008, comprising 14.3 acres of Syrah. With its high-density spacing and new clonal material, the block immediately stood out to our winemaking team, inspiring them to capture the pure qualities of the site.

Upon popping the cork, the 2018 Chapel G Syrah elicits mesmerizing aromas of crushed violet and churned earth, accented by alluring notes of allspice and leather. Give it another swirl and brambleberry and clay join the mix. With the first sip, silky tannins are immediately introduced upon entry, building towards an expansive round and velvety middle palate that eventually envelopes the entire palate as a whole like a warm hug. Dusty tannins linger behind, complexed by flavors of charred plum, hibiscus tea, and sweetened cocoa powder.
