Zaca Mesa Vineyard: Situated less than 30 miles from the Pacific Ocean, our vineyard is composed mainly of free-draining Chamise soils. These shallow soils are found on dissected terraces and eroded hillsides with elevations between 1300 and 1500 feet above sea level, creating the perfect site within the Santa Ynez Valley for growing world-class Rhône varieties.
TTT Vineyards: The Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara AVA is in the warmest, eastern-most region of the Santa Ynez Valley. It’s higher daytime temperatures, combined with free-draining gravelly loam soils make this area ideal for growing Bordeaux varieties.
Following its inaugural 2017 bottling, the 2018 Repose continues to live up its name: tranquil, smooth, and offering a feeling of total relaxation. Ready to impress, aromas of black currant, hoison sauce, graphite, and shaved cedar come swinging out the gates. Pillowy, seductive tannins marry flavors of plum and sweet black fruits in this truly charming and comforting wine. The finish is vibrant, highlighted by hints of brown sugar and concentrated with fresh vine-ripened blackberry.
For maximum enjoyment and envelopment of aromas, we recommend decanting at least an hour before serving.
