This vintage of our Sta. Rita Hills Chardonnay is stunning, perfectly melding fresh fruit notes of honey crisp apple and nectarine with whispers of wet stone after a rain shower. Creamy notes of almond paste follow the initial fruit-forward wave, displaying an influence from the wine’s sur lie aging. The palate offers a creamy texture on the middle palate with notes of orchard fruits and Anjou pear. The experience crescendos with subtle hints of honeycomb and refreshing minerality on the finish.
